Imperial College London
Dr Sean Barrett is a Royal Society University Research Fellow in the Controlled Quantum Dynamics group at Imperial College London. His research focuses primarily on how to build quantum computers and quantum networks, with particular focus on scalable designs that are robust to noise.
Dr Dara McCutcheon was previously a PhD student in the London Centre for Nanotechnology. His doctoral thesis was on open quantum systems in correlated environments.
Dara has been a research associate at Imperial College since October 2011. His interests are currently focused on...
- Decoherence in the solid-state
- Phonon damping in driven quantum dots
- Non-Markovian noise in quantum dots
- Emission properties of solid-state emitters
